We are currently looking for an ETL expert to join the bank industry department in one of IT company’s New York Office.

Summary of Duties

  • A professional capable of independently driving the entire ETL project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, and testing.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance systems using ETL tools.
  • Organize user requirements gathered during interviews and translate them into system specifications.
  • Document system requirements in design documents.
  • Develop programs based on the design documents.
  • Create and execute test plans for modified programs.

Skills

  • Must-Have:
    • Extensive experience implementing large-scale data warehouses/data marts using the Datastage ETL tool.
    • Functional experience utilizing data models as the primary reference for designing and developing Datastage load processes for data warehouses/data marts.
    • Strong understanding of relational and dimensional database concepts.
    • Hands-on experience in all phases of a full project lifecycle, including design.
    • Proficiency in developing both server and parallel jobs on Unix platforms with relational databases (e.g., Oracle or SQL Server) as source and target data environments.
    • Expertise in data warehouse concepts and proven experience in implementing data warehouses.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate and document requirements clearly for both business and technical stakeholders.
    • Language Proficiency: Native-level English.
  • Nice-to-Have:
    • Intermediate proficiency in Japanese.
